Alfred's Head began the game in top gear and applied constant pressure from the off. Alfred's came close on several occasions but Aston defended well to stop an early lead. Alfred's Head finally broke the deadlock when a shot deflected off Chris Walsh leaving Andy Marshall rooted in his goal. Alfred's continued to dominate the midfield and several more chances went begging but again it was the Aston Back line who cleared. Dion Day switched to the right wing half way through and Aston had a couple of half chances at goal but nothing to worry the Alfred's Keeper. Alfred's soon added a second when Damien Foote failed to keep the ball from crossing the line. Alfred's were so close to a third from a corner kick but Kris Foote denied them at the back post. Aston Green made a halftime sub with Ralf Dussold making his debut for the injured Kris Foote. Daryl Harris switched to left back and Ralf took his place on the wing. Midway in the second half  Damien Foote made a dazzling run from Defence, taking on 3 Alfred's players on his route to goal but Alfred's recovered well and prevented a shot on goal. Craig Richardson also went close, his lobbed effort rebounded off the post. Justin Fox could have gave Aston a lifeline but was brought down in the box- no penalty. Alfred's also had their fair share of shots before they made it 3 and then 4 - 0 with unstoppable drives from the edge of the box. Alfred's Head where also awarded two penalty kicks in this game when Damien Foote rashly tackled Leon White in the box and another where Lion White appeared to have dived for the penalty - boooooo. The first Penalty was sent wide and the second was well saved by Andy Marshall. Alfred's finally killed the game off with a fifth goal.
