Aston Green were forced to start the game with 10 men due to Daryl Harris and Ralf Dussold being absent due to illness. Rx1 were thought to have been in the same position until a few extra players turned up at the last minute. RX1 donated one of thier players to run our line the first half and the half proved even. Aston struck first when Dion Day put Craig Richardson through on goal, Craig took the goal well with a lob effort going in at the far post. Rx1 soon levelled the game when the Aston team backed off to allow Spike Jefferies to drive the ball home from outside the box. RX1 soon increased thier lead to 2-1 and Aston had a few chances to level the game before the break, but RX1 Defended well. Aston started the second half without a lines man and that proved to be the downfall, maybe it was part of the RX1 plan. Aston Managed to bring the match level when they played the advantage, Dave Cunningham spilt the RX1 Defence with a great through ball and Craig Richardson slotted home for his second of the game. Without support from the Referree and no offside rule for RX1, they piled forward and manged to end the game with a 10-2 thumping. Aston Have reported RX1 as they fielded at least two eligable players during this game, Stuart Milne and Richard Chamberlain are believed to be signed on for another Sunday League team.
