Result   Aston Green 1 - 12 Eastern Rangers

Aston started the game positively and Eastern struggled to break them down, Eastern eventually broke the deadlock forcing Aston to fight back. Aston started to play with a bit of spirit going forward and it nearly paid off as  Dave Cunningham cut the ball back and Damien Foote's strike cannoned off the upright. Chris Walsh also went close to levelling the game when he saw this drive tipped over by the Rangers keeper. Eastern managed to grab another and the game started to slip away for Aston. Kris Foote could have got them back into it when he ran on to beat the offside trap but his shot was just off target. Eastern went on to a 6-0 lead before the break. Eastern Continued to dominate a tired Aston side and tallied up 11 goals before Aston were able to pull one back. Aston were rewarded a penalty for handball in the area, Dion Day stepped up and put it away neatly. Eastern were 12-1 winners in the end in what turned out to be a wake up call for Aston.
