Aston began the game with several key players missing from last weeks 4-1 win at Whitley Utd. Aston failed to find their feet in this game and rarely looked interested. Lake took an early lead when they somehow managed to bundle the ball home. Damien Foote also came close when he lobbed the advancing keeper to see his shot go just wide. The score line stayed the same until Scott Richardson got involved in a fight with a Lake player and both players were dismissed with another Lake Player receiving a yellow card for his involvement. Dion Day came close to equalising but his well taken strike was just parried away by the keeper. Half time 1-0. Lake scored another before Anthony Pocock ran through to score but the 5yr old linesman ruled him offside. Lake went on to take a 5-0 lead before Damien Foote rounded the keeper and scored with what must be the cheekiest goal seen this season, he stopped the ball on the line and headed in on all fours. To round off a firey match Lake got another player sent off for Punching Kevin Pocock.
