The score line said it all in a game where Green failed to create any real chances on goal. From the off Bird took full advantage and scored twice before the break. Half time substitutions saw Damien Foote replace Ian Clements in Midfield centre with Chris Walsh partnering Anthony Pocock upfront. Green looked a little more composed in the second half and played some good football at times. Kris Foote replaced Scott Richardson at right back to try and give green a fresh pair of legs at the back but did not make much deference as Bird went on a goal spree. Chris Walsh had the only real chance of the game for Green when Dion Days corner kick floated into the box with Walsh heading just wide. Bird finished the game 5-0 winners and deservedly taking all 3 points.
